The Georgia Southern football team capped the second week of spring practice with an approximate 60-play scrimmage Saturday morning at Paulson Stadium.

The Georgia Bulldogs conducted a two-hour, 120-play scrimmage at Sanford Stadium on Saturday morning, their 10th of 15 spring practices.

The Class AAA fifth-ranked East Hall boys routed Banks County 11-1 Friday night in 7-AAA action at East Hall Stadium.

Connor Bennet scattered five hits and struck out 14 to lead Buford to a 6-0 win over North Hall Friday at Jody Davis Field.
