Suwanee Police Department looks for suspect who snapped photos of girl in store bathroom

By B.J. Williams
Suwanee Police Department investigators have released surveillance footage of a woman they think was taking cell phone photos under a bathroom door at a home improvement store last fall.

Police said in a press release they received a report from two juvenile girls who told them about the incident on Nov. 4, 2018.

At the time, the girls had gone to the restroom at the Lowe's Home Improvement Store at 3260 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road.

"One of the juveniles saw a hand holding a cell phone appear from under the stall and begin taking pictures of her," the statement read. "The juvenile said she heard 'the camera sound' and could see herself on the phone screen."

Police said the girl told them the suspect's hand had long, purple fingernails. She said the hand "did not look old."

Investigators were able to get surveillance footage of the woman as she left the restroom. The suspect met a man who purchased items using a credit card. Tracking the information on the credit card, investigators were able to identify the man as Eugenio Garcia-Aragon of Forest Park.

Investigators said they have made several attempts to locate Garcia-Aragon, but have been unsuccessful. Now, they hope the public can help find him and the female suspect. Tips can be submitted to Detective Belcher at [email protected] or by calling 770-904-7629.
