Murray blocks field goal, Eagles squeeze by ULM
Georgia Southern's RJ Murray blocked a 42-yard field goal attempt by ULM's Craig Ford with 1:18 to play, and the Eagles hung on for a 23-21 Sun Belt Conference football victory over the Warhawks before a school-record crowd of 25,735 Saturday evening in Paulson Stadium.

No. 12 UNG soccer races past Georgia College
It didn't take long for the 12th-ranked University of North Georgia women's soccer team to get into a groove after a 12-day break between games as Jacy Ramey found the back of the next in the second minute and UNG never looked back defeating Georgia College, 3-1, Saturday afternoon at the UNG Soccer Complex.
