Thomas J. Sacklyn

Thomas J. Sacklyn, age 75 of Cumming, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date in the Chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home.

Tom was an engineer with GE, Westinghouse, and Seimens. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and a Fourth Degree member of Knights of Columbus.

Tom is survived by his wife of 30 years Jan Sacklyn; children Michael and Kerri Sacklyn, of Canton, Georgia; Chris and Lee Sacklyn, of Coral Gables, Florida; Kellie and David Contreras, of Marietta, Georgia; Tim Sacklyn, of Marietta, Georgia; siblings Jennifer and John Hoebel, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Marcella “Cookie” Sacklyn, of California; grandchildren Taylor Sacklyn, Morgan Sacklyn, Hannah Sacklyn, Hayden Sacklyn Ava Contreras and Patton Contreras.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name can be made to American Diabetes Association  or American Heart Association.
