Brenda Sue Anderson Powell-Jones

Dahlonega Funeral Home announces the passing of Mrs. Brenda Sue Anderson Powell-Jones, age 68, on March 18th, 2020.

A native of Dahlonega, Georgia, Brenda Sue also lived in Dalton, Georgia; Augsburg, Germany; Goppingen, Germany; Fort Huachuca, Arizona; Fort Greely, Alaska; East Point, Georgia; and Douglasville, Georgia.

Brenda Sue was a member of the Dahlonega CHurch of God Mercy Hill for over 60 years. She was also active in Sierra Vista Church of God in Arizona, Lithia Springs Church of God in Georgia, Mt. Carmel Church of God in Douglasville, Georgia, Mount Paran West Church of God in Douglasville, Georgia, The Fountain Church of God of Prophecy in Dahlonega, Georgia, and Winds of Peace in Dawsonville, Georgia.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father John Wilson and Katherine Ward Anderson, brothers; Gary Anderson, Russell Anderson, James(Windford) Anderson, and sisters; Joyce Anderson Eaton and Charlene Anderson Lance.

She is survived by her husband Stephen Jones, Sr. as well as brother, Stanley Anderson, of Dahlonega, and sister, Sandra Anderson Nobles, Of East Point, Georgia.

Visitation is March 19th 11-2 at Dahlonega Funeral Home, Followed by a Service at 2pm in the Chapel officiated by Tommy Panter.

Internment is at Dahlonega Memorial Park
