Frances “Marie” Jones

Mrs. Frances “Marie” Jones, age 55 of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2020 at 3:00 pm in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Troy Milford will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, March 20, 2020 from 1 – 3 pm at the funeral home, prior to the service. 

Mrs. Jones was born November 25, 1964 in Cumming, Georgia to James Pirkle and Jonell Baker Pirkle.  She was employed with Publix Grocery Store and was a member of Mayfield Baptist Church.  Marie was preceded in death by her father, James Pirkle and her sister, Peggy Ann Pirkle.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Loyd Jones of Gainesville, her children, Kayla Jones, Kristopher Jones and Dylan Mann, all of Gainesville, her mother, Jonell Pirkle of Gainesville and her siblings, J.B. Pirkle of Gainesville, J.A. Pirkle of Dawsonville, J.D. Pirkle of Oakwood, J.C. Pirkle of Gillsville, J.T. Pirkle of Flowery Branch, J.R. Pirkle of Gainesville, Diane Propes of Flowery Branch, Linda Halsey of Gainesville, Janell Jones of Dahlonega and Eva Jones of Murrayville.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
