Susie Ann Hall

Mrs. Susie Ann Hall, 80, was born on August 19, 1939 to the late Nick Williams and the late Emma Alexander Williams. She was called home to be with the Lord on March 15, 2020. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lillie Mae Williams and Nancy Coleman; brothers, Jerry Williams and Henry Lee Williams.

Susie attended the Greene County School System. She was the oldest of fourteen children. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Gainesville. She was known for her kind heart and helping others. She loved to sew and make hats for people. Furthermore, she enjoyed making people laugh. Those who mourn her rejoice that she is now enfolded in the loving care of God.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her husband, Robert Hall; sons, Stacy Hall, Robert Hall, and Tyone Hall; daughter; Sonya Hall; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Beatrice (Bobby) Roper, Vera Williams, Ciara (Maurice) Roper, Donald Lee Thomas, Leroy (Catherine) Ramsey, Mary Jean Curry, Patsy Ann (Donnell) Moore, and Charlie, Jr. (Mary) Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday March 21, 2020 at 2pm at Dexter T. Sims Mortuary, LLC in The Rev. Charlie, Jr. and Conchita Sims Memorial Chapel. Viewing will be Friday March 20, 2020 from 2pm-7pm. The family will receive family and friends from 5pm-7pm.
