Mary Frances Aline Tatum, 94 of Dawsonville, GA passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2020 at her residence. She was born to the late David Edward and Mary Frances Pruett. She was a lifelong resident of Dawsonville, GA. Aline was a member of McKee’s Chapel UMC, Dawsonville, GA. She loved to sew, make crafts and baking. Aline was an avid knickknack collector. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Tatum; daughter, Gail Walker; granddaughter, Alisha Ray; Foster son, J. H. Pruett; and numerous brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Tommy Tatum, of Cleveland, GA, Susan and Jackie Grizzle of East Ellijay, GA, Wanda Ray of Dawsonville, GA; son in law, Alan Walker of Dawsonville, GA; granddaughter, Lisa and Jason Leonard of Dawsonville, GA; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; foster children, James Pruett, Brenda Gee, Faye Ritchie, Walter Pruett, Sharon Pruett; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives survive.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at McKee’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Dawsonville, GA with the Rev. Justin Combs officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 16, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
