Herschel Kenneth Allen

Herschel Kenneth Allen age 75 of Peachtree Corners formerly of Gainesville passed away Wednesday March 11, 2020 at Northside Hospital, Atlanta.

Mr. Allen was born March 26, 1944 in Gainesville to J.D. & Jeanette Gittens Allen. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Georgia Tech with a Textile Engineering degree. Mr. Allen owned & operated Technology Systems located in Gwinnett. He was of the Baptist Faith and he was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Allen.

Survivors include, son, Paul Watson, Duluth; daughter, Sherry Watson of Woodstock; former wife of 30 years, Susan Thatcher of Peachtree Corners; sister in law, Kathy Allen of South Carolina. Two nephews Chuck & Matthew Allen also survive.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday March 15, 2020 at the Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
