Jack Eugene Moore

Jack Eugene Moore, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020, at his home. 

A native of Chicopee Village, Jack was a beloved member of his community with many lifelong friends.  He served honorably for 10 years in the United States Army Reserves and loved his country dearly.  He created and maintained a thriving insurance company selling life insurance for nearly 50 years.  An avid sports fan and athlete, Jack played basketball, golf, football, and baseball.

 He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert O. and Annie (Boyd) Moore; and brother, Robert Curtis Moore, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Lacey Moore; daughter, Liz  Moore; son and daughter-in-law, Jasen and Amanda Moore; and bonus daughter and son-in-law, Misty Caudell-Thompson and John Daniel Thompson, Jr; grandchildren, Fowler Moore, Smith Hansen, Polly Hansen; sister and brother-in-law, Sara and Joe Carruth; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Lacey; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mary and Frank Arnau; Jimmy and Brenda Lacey; Phillip and Angelia Lacey.

 Out of an abundance of caution for the health of Jack’s beloved friends, services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack’s memory may be made to Eagle Ranch P.O. Box 7200 Chestnut Mountain, Georgia. 30502
