Charles Robert Dawkins

Charles Robert Dawkins age 80 of Gainesville passed away March 13, 2020 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Dawkins was born in Gainesville in the Downey Hospital on July 13, 1939 to the late Charles Robert, Sr. & Grace Collier Dawkins. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Georgia Tech, where he played football under Coach Bobby Dodd. He was a retired airline pilot with Eastern Airlines, Air Tran & Value Jet. Charles served his Country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Gainesville.

Survivors include, wife, Reesa Dawkins of Gainesville; daughter, Tabatha Menopace of Ohio; grandchildren, Emma Kaye Menopace, Nathan Menopace & Andrew Perez.
