Jerryl Oliver “Jerry” Whitfield

Jerryl Oliver “Jerry” Whitfield, age 61 of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 08, 2020.

Born on July 09, 1958 at Homestead Air Force Base in Homestead, Florida, he was a son of the late Ralph & Evelyn Parker Campbell. Jerry was an expert small engine mechanic for many years. He was a member of Hillside Baptist Church in Cornelia. In his spare time, Jerry was an avid outdoorsman,  who enjoyed hunting & fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by grandparents, Oliver & Ethel Jordan Parker.

Survivors include his sisters & brothers-in-law, Sherryl Parrish of Sebastian, FL; Karen Daniel of Gillsville, GA; Lena & Matt Cahill of Mt. Airy, GA; Marie & Lynn Morse of Maysville, GA; aunt, Imogene Manning of Rural Hall, NC; 5 nieces; 3 nephews; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins & a host of friends.

Jerry’s wishes were to be cremated.

A private family celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at a later date.
