Shirley Viola Sears Hembree

Mrs. Shirley Viola Sears Hembree, 83, of Gainesville, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020 at Gateway Health and Rehab following an extended illness.

Services will be held at a later date.

Born on April 26, 1936 in Homer, GA she was the daughter of the late Fred Lee and Beulah M. Bruce Sears. She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hembree is preceded in death by her son, Mickey Eugene Hembree and Robert Stephens Hembree; sisters, Faye Hembree, Ethel Brewer, Wilma Feagan; brothers, Wayne Sears, Jack Sears, Bobby Sears, Dwayne Sears, Charles Sears.

Mrs. Hembree is survived by her husband, Robert Eugene Hembree; sister, Betty McKinney of Columbia, SC; brother, Carlton Sears of Commerce and a number of other relatives.
