Evelyn G. “Doodle” Burnett

Mrs. Evelyn G. “Doodle” Burnett, 66, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Northside Forsyth Hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2020 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. John Dale officiating. Interment will be in Murrayville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 10^th and on Wednesday, March 11^th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on August 8, 1953 in Atlanta, GA she was the daughter of the late William R and Mildred Gray. She was retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center and a member of Murrayville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Burnett is survived by her husband, Jim Burnett of Gainesville; daughters, Niki Armour of Gainesville, Thora McReynolds of WA; grandson, Bailey Armour; granddaughters, Morgan Armour, Abigail Armour, Kelsey McReynolds, Brittney Suppini; two great granddaughters; sister and brother in law, Charlene and Ray Anderson of Gainesville and several nieces and nephews.
