Jason Davie Eaton

Obituary Date: Saturday, March 7, 2020

Mr. Jason Davie Eaton, age 42, of Dahlonega passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020.

Jason was born in Hall County May 27, 1977.  He was preceded in death by his father James David Eaton, stepfather Earl McDonald, sister Crystal Ralston, paternal grandparents Clyde and Nellie Eaton, maternal grandparents Joe and Shirley Tolbert Grizzle, and maternal grandfather Curtis Bridges.  Jason attended Lumpkin County High School and started to work at Tyson Food.  He then went to the Cobb Vantress division and until he could no longer work he was employed at Torrington.  He loved to hunt and fish and pan for gold in the river by his house.  Jason attended Damascus Baptist Church. 

He is survived by his mother Wanda McDonald; brother and sister-in-law Steven and Angi McDonald; sister and brother-in-law Melissa and Tyler Odom, all of Dahlonega; aunts and uncles Brooke and Timmy Gee, Jay and Dana Eaton, Daniel and Angie Eaton, Sammy and Beth Eaton, Stanley and Vera Brock, and Troy Bridges; nephew A.J. Reeves; niece Autumn Reeves; and nephew Grayson McDonald.

A memorial service for Jason is scheduled for 3:00 PM Sunday, March 8, 2020 at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home.  The Rev. Andy Caldwell will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to the service hour Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to help with final expenses.
