Lauri Lynn Walls

Lauri Lynn Walls, age 61, passed on peacefully at home on March 2, 2020. Lauri, a Georgia native, was raised in Forest Park and enjoyed Lake Lanier as a child. After graduating from North Georgia College and Georgia State University, she moved to the Cumming area in the late 80’s to be near the lake and the mountains. She greatly enjoyed both as well as traveling.

Born in Dekalb County to the late Joe Young and Anthonae (Toni/Inie) Zachos Walls, Lauri is survived by her dear partner, Sandra Bennett, Cumming, sisters Barbara E Weiand, Winter Haven, FL, Janet Walls Wilson, Jonesboro, GA, Martha Walls Wilson, Jefferson, GA, and brother Charles Walls, Forest Park, GA, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many loving friends, including all of her lake buddies.

Visitation will be on March 3, 2020, at Ingram Funeral Home, Cumming, GA, from 4:00-8:00 with a graveside service the following day at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, GA.

In lieu of flowers, Lauri asked that you please take a friend on a walk to

a waterfall. She will be forever loved and tremendously missed.
