Mrs. Sharon Gail Hendrix McDonald, age 57 of Highway 145 in Eastanollee, Ga. passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the home.
A daughter of the late Thomas J. Hendrix and Virginia Bice Hendrix, she was born June 25, 1962 in Mobile, Alabama, lived in White County, Ga. for most of her life, and in Stephens County for the past four months. She worked in retail sales for several years and later worked at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for ten years. Also, she was a member at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cleveland, Georgia. Mrs. McDonald spent the majority of her time with family. She loved them dearly. She was preceded in death by two children, Rosanna McDonald and Dianna McDonald, and by a grandson, Dakota Slaughter.
She is survived by three daughters, Dasha Poole of Eastanollee, Ga., Amy Poole of Cleveland, Ga., and Gina Poole and fiancé Scott Brogdon of Cleveland, two step daughters, Abbie Rushing and Jamie Whisnant both of Mississippi, five grandchildren, Isaiah Poole, Gabriel Poole, Elias Brogden, Keira Brogden, and Arthur William Poole, a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Pam Hendrix, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Gina and Donald Thompson and Judy Smith all of Cleveland, Ga. and Teresa and Keith Fowler of Bradenton, Florida, and by thirteen nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 4:00 P.M. at the Pine Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery in Kennesaw, Georgia.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. After visiting hours, the family will leave the funeral home and drive to Kennesaw for the Graveside Service.
