Joseph Oriano

Joseph Oriano, age 77, of Cumming, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 3 to 5PM and Monday, March 2, 2020 from 7 to 9PM at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at St Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church with interment following with military honors at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. Mr. Oriano was a veteran of the United States Army and retired after a long career employed with Pan American World Airways and Delta Airlines. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Notre Dame Football. He enjoyed attending all of his grand-childrens sports, activities, and school events.

Joe is survived by his wife of over 52 years Rosemarie Anastasio Oriano, of Cumming, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Patrick Apoian, of Cumming, Georgia; son and girlfriend Joseph Oriano, Jr. and Jessica Weingart, of Atlanta, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law Gennaro “Jerry” and Teresa Oriano, of Denville, New Jersey; sister Ersilia “Elsie” Miller, of Maryland; grandchildren Gehrig “Joey” Apoian; Karaline Apoian.
