Thomas Vernon Tomerlin, III, age 45 of Ball Ground, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 12:30 til 2PM at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. A 2:30 PM graveside service will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Tomerlin was a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Management Information Systems and worked as a BI Systems Analyst. Thomas was preceded in death by his father Thomas Vernon Tomerlin, Jr. He is survived by his mother Virginia Fetzer Tomerlin, of Ball Ground, Georgia, sister Judith Johnston, niece Sarah Johnston, nephew Zachary Johnston, all of Cumming, Georgia, grandmother Ila Rae Fetzer, of Somerville, Tennessee, and brother-in-law Todd Johnston, of Cumming, Georgia.
