Jeff “Tox” Collins, age 50, of Auburn, GA passed away Monday, February 17, 2020. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, C. F. Collins and Bonnie Collins; maternal grandparents, Floyd and Ruby Mote. Jeff is survived by his father, Mell and Ruth Collins, Auburn, GA; mother, Melvina Mote Collins, Monroe, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Sean Ogburn, Hoschton, GA; niece, Ansley Watson, Hoschton, GA; nephew, Vince Watson, Hoschton, GA; aunts, Anne Collins, Comer, GA; Faye Guthrie-Witcher, Morrow, GA, and Laverne Peppers, Winder, GA; uncle and aunt, Joe and Mary Collins, Gratis, GA; several cousins and numerous friends. Mr. Collins was born April 29, 1969 in Monroe, GA. He was a 1987 graduate of Winder Barrow High School in Winder, GA. Jeff was employed with Elite Grave and Vault Service. He had also worked for his father, Mell Collins, in grave and vault services. Jeff was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan and University of Georgia football fan. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 19th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Northeast Georgia Health Systems, www.themedicalcenterfoundation.org/donate/donationform.com in memory of Jeff Collins.
