Jacky McDougald

Mr. Jacky Ray “Flugal” McDougald, age 65, of Oakwood passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 19, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. David Pruitt and Rev. Robert Hicks will officiate.  The family will receive friends 2:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. McDougald was born April 29, 1954 to the late John & Annie Bell McDougald in Buford.  He was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church in Hoschton and retired from SKF after 40 years, where he had been a Machinist. 

Mr. McDougald is survived by his wife, Evelyn Banks McDougald of Oakwood; sons & daughters-in-law, Jason & Candace McDougald of Oakwood and Joshua & Nayda McDougald of Kempner, TX; grandchildren, Breanna Smith, Jessica McDougald and Jeremy McDougald; sister & brother-in-law, Helen & Doug Wright of Oakwood; Aunts, Elizabeth Rogers of Marietta and Lois Phillips of Flowery Branch; several nieces, nephews & cousins; sister-in-law, Patti Crowe of McCaysville; and brothers-in-law & wives, Jimmy & Doria Banks of Kennesaw, John & Gayle Banks of Watkinsville and Harold & Rachael Banks of Methoen, Massachusetts.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Annie Bell McDougald and mother-in-law & father-in-law, Harold & Annie Banks.
