Hoyt Anthony Jordan

Hoyt Anthony Jordan, age 72, of Buford, GA passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2020. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Anne Broadwell Jordan and father, Odell Lacy Jordan. Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Sherry Jordan, Buford, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Zach and Ashley Jordan, Salem, VA; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Jordan; brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Brenda Jordan, Alpharetta, GA and Harry and Marcia Jordan, Roswell, GA; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pam and Todd Mitchell, Buford, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Jordan was member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church where he worshipped and played bass guitar in their orchestra. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming, GA with Rev. Ted Williams, of Ivy Creek Baptist Church, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening, February 17^th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ivy Creek Baptist Church Music Ministry, 2500 Ivy Creek Road, Buford, GA 30519 in memory of Hoyt Jordan.
