Windell Edwin Parker

Windell Edwin Parker, 83, of Dawsonville, GA passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2020 in Atlanta, GA.  He was born to the late Floyd Edwin and Vera Mae Parker in Hahira, GA.  Windell was a retired Air Force Veteran that served in the Vietnam War.  He was an avid sports fan who loved to watch the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs.  He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. 

He is preceded in death by his grandson, Nico Edwin Parker; brother, Jimmy Parker; and sister, Jean Parker. 

He is survived by his children, Marylyn and Jim Baker of Ft. Myer, FL, Windy Parker of Cumming, GA, Cindy Giffone of Tampa, FL., Gwen and Ken Hall of Aurora, CO; grandchildren, Megan, Chase, Brittany, Shelby, Dustin, Zoe, Justin, Melissa, Kristina; great grandchildren, Matthew, Sinclair, Tressie; sister, Carolyn Sadler of Valdosta, GA; and numerous other relatives.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home, Dawsonville, GA.
