On any given weekend, you could find Charlie playing golf, attending or watching Auburn sports.  He bled orange and blue and was passionate about Auburn! He was very fortunate getting to travel across the United States and other countries to play many beautiful golf courses.  However, his most cherished times were spent watching Parker Anne in the theatre performing or singing, Will playing lacrosse, watching Charlotte dance and spending time with his beautiful wife, Margaret.  The Jones family attended Browns Bridge Church in Cumming, GA.  Charlie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Carolyn Jones and Bill and Marie Lockhart of Billingsley, Alabama.  He is survived by his parents, David and Jan Jones of Billingsley, Alabama, his wife Margaret, his three children, Parker Anne, Will and Charlotte, Shay (Jones) Runion, his sister and brother-in-law Jeff and nephews, Zeb and Eason Runion of Canton, Georgia.  He is also survived by his in-laws Bob and Anne Gilbert, brother-in-law Geoff Gilbert and his wife Patricia, nieces Ansley and Mackenzie and nephew Wyatt Gilbert.  Visitation time with family will be held, Monday, February 10th at Cumming First United Methodist Church, 770 Canton Highway, Cumming, GA from 2-4 with the funeral following 4-5 PM EST.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.com, Indian Grave Baptist Church (please designate to a group his mother is part of the, SONSHINE Stitchers, a sewing ministry that provides handmade clothes, pillowcases, lap quilts and other items for the Children’s Hospital and UAB Cancer Center and other organizations.  Address: 1343 County Road 24, Billingsley, Alabama 36006 or the National FFA Organization at www.ffa.org.
