Mrs. Joan Andrews Brown, age 69 of Ward Circle, Toccoa passed away Monday, February 3, 2020 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
A daughter of the late Thomas and Doris Peyton Andrews, she was born October 17, 1950 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life. She was a graduate of North Georgia Technical College. She was employed as a Certified Medical Assistant with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group for a long number of years. She was a member of Lamar Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband of the home, Max Brown; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Jay Franklin of Toccoa; two sons and daughters-in-law, Brent and Heather Brown of Dacula, Georgia and Mark and Jody Brown of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Haley, Jarred and Hannah, Mackenzie, Anna Kay, Mallory, Caitlin, Sara and Drew; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Greg Waldrop and Louise and Jimmy Hicks both of Toccoa; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 7, 2020, 11 O’clock a.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Andy Childs officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Bryan Andrews, Caleb Higginbotham, Doug Carter, Clay Carter, Chuck Kelley, Chance Thomas and Jarred Brown.
The family will be at the home on Ward Circle and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Joan Andrews Brown.
