Rita Bozych, age 89, of Alpharetta, GA, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Brickmont Assisted Living of Milton. Rita was born on September 14, 1930, in Chicago, IL. She was a loving wife and mother.
Rita is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Bozych, and mother and father, Sophia and Stanley Kerstein.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Gino Oprea; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Gary Hayden; and beloved “fur baby” grandkids (Sophie, Bruno, and Pepe’).
After retirement, Rita and Clarence moved from Lombard, IL to Oviedo, FL and worked their dream jobs part-time as Disney cast members for over 18 years, prior to Clarence’s passing.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to all the incredible care givers at Brickmont Assisted Living in Milton and Agape Chronic Care - Hospice for the love and care they gave to Rita.
Funeral services with the immediate family will be held Monday, February 10, 2020, in Orlando, FL. Rita will be buried at the historic Greenwood Cemetery in Orlando.
