Terry G. Poole

Terry G. Poole, age 67, of Carnesville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 following a brief illness.

Mr. Poole was born on September 22, 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Roy and Betty Faye Crocker Poole. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Poole; father-in-law, Forace Daniel. He was a United States Veteran, having served his country. Mr. Poole was a member of Charity Baptist Church. He was retired from the Department of Natural Resources. Terry was known as "Papa" to his grandchildren, and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  

Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Angela Daniel Poole, of Carnesville; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Nicole Poole, Martin; daughter and son-in-law, Kaitlyn and Justin Lewallen, of Commerce; grandchildren, Chloe, Dallas, Lane, Emeri, Paisley, Maya; three brothers and one sister.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the Charity Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund at Charity Baptist Church, 1302 Highway 51 North, Homer, Georgia 30547
