Sara Lou Thomas Bailey

Mrs. Sarah Lou Thomas Bailey, age 88 of Pressley Road, Eastanollee passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Pruitt Health Toccoa.

A daughter of the late Lowery McBath Thomas and Lizzie Payne Thomas, she was born May 7, 1931 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County. She was retired from Coats and Clark and later worked with Ingles for a number of years. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Robert Allan Bailey.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Winn of Toccoa; two sons and daughter-in-law, Larry Bailey and John Wayne Bailey and wife Kristy both of Toccoa; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Pernie Isbell of Stone Mountain, Georgia.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 7, 2020, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jeff Thomas, David Thomas and Bill Thomas.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday, 1 p.m. until the service time.   Online condolences may be left at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Sarah Lou Thomas Bailey.
