Mrs. Anne Maxwell Stowe, age 74 of Mountain View Circle, Toccoa passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020.
A daughter of the late James Pate Maxwell and Mildred Henderson Maxwell, she was born November 18, 1945 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Atlanta and returned to Toccoa 15 years ago. Prior to her retirement she was Vice President of Nieman Personnel Service in Atlanta. After returning to Toccoa, she was a salesperson at Tabor Motor Company for a number of years. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Smith.
Survivors include her husband of the home, Lee Stowe; brother and sister-in-law, Pate and Bonnie Maxwell of Panama City Beach, Florida; two sisters, Sharon Stewart of Toccoa and Linda Bennett of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; half brother, John Terrell Maxwell of Palm Beach, Florida; half-sister, Fay Minyard of Cobb County, Georgia; brother-in-law, Ronnie Smith of Panama City, Florida; sister-in-law, Evelyn Blyth of Bowersville; brother-in-law, Tom Stowe of Gray, Georgia; nieces, Millissa Pope and Sherri Bennett; nephews, Chad Ward and Jason Maxwell.
Funeral services will be Sunday, February 2, 2020, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Dr. Tommy Childress and The Reverend Cory Pulliam officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Ronnie Smith, Cary Bennett, Jerry Ward, Gary Minyard, Matt Moon, Stan Roberts and Jai Hudgins.
The family will be at the home on Mountain View Circle and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday, 6 until 8 p.m.
Interment will follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Anne Maxwell Stowe.
