Vinnie Lee Robinson Bolmon

Vinnie Lee Robinson Bolmon, age 91 of Robinson Way, Toccoa went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 29 at her residence.

A daughter of the late Cliff and Artie Smith Robinson, she was born on November 9, 1928, in Toccoa, Georgia where she lived all of her life. She was a charter member of The Pointe and was the oldest active member. She was a faithful servant of the Lord who loved her church. She worked at Wrights Manufacturing, retired from Milliken Avalon, and then worked in the Ingles bakery. She had a love of flowers and gardening.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Henry Osborne Bolmon; brothers John William Robinson, Henry Dewey Robinson, T.C. Robinson, and Charles Neal Robinson; a son Henry Edward “Eddie” Bolmon.

Survivors include her two daughters and son-in-law, Judy Pruitt of Toccoa, Linda Gail and Bill Mauldin of Toccoa, and a son Kenneth Bolmon of Martin; 7 grandchildren Brian Outz, Leisa Williams, Lynn Mauldin, Kandy Hardman, Heather Bolmon, Nick Bolmon, Cody Bolmon; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews; one brother and sister-in-law, R.C. and Vera Robinson of Toccoa and sister-in-law Linda Allison.

Funeral services will be held at The Pointe on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Chitwood, Pastor Dennis Rafala, and Pastor Chad Smith officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Johnny Sayer, Nick Bolmon, Cody Bolmon, Mark Robinson, Dalton McCall and Brandon Hardman.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 31, 2020, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to her personal caregiver Kay McGinn and Amedisys Hospice especially Eva, Michelle, April, Jessica, and Tommy Childress.

Flowers are optional and memorials may be made to the Adult Ministry at The Pointe.

Interment to follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Vinnie Lee Robinson Bolmon.
