Michael Benjamin Wallace

Mr. Michael Benjamin Wallace, 75, of Gainesville passed away Monday, January 27, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Braselton.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Drewery Loggins officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.

Born on February 6, 1944 in Calhoun, GA he was the son of the late John Thomas and Melissa Ann Wallace. He was a retired Insurance Marketing Representative for Union Standard Insurance.  Mr. Wallace was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife, June Prindle Wallace of Gainesville; daughters, Wendi Gutherie of Cumming, Cristy Jones of Flowery Branch; sister, Jane Reed of Gainesville; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research, 111 W 33rd St, New York, NY 10001.
