Grace Hammond

Grace Hammond, age 82, of Buford, GA passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Laud Hammond.  Mrs. Hammond is survived by her children, Dr. Victoria and husband Dr. Alexander Quarshie, Dorothea Wilson and husband, Matthew Wilson, Christine Fafatu Nartey and husband Dr. Rafak Nartey, Dr. John Laud-Hammond and wife Christine Laud-Hammond; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Emma Brown, Confort Kwabi, Jessie Laryea; brother, Charles Larpey Laryea; host of friends and relatives.  Mrs. Hammond was born July 7, 1937 in Accra Ghana, West Africa.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. George Addaie-Mintah.  Interment will be a Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1^st at the funeral home.
