Charles Thomas Lewis

Charles Thomas Lewis, age 76 of Toccoa, passed away January 23, 2020, at his residence.

Born in Newberry, SC on September 25, 1943, he was a son of the late Thomas and Willie Mae Lewis. Mr. Lewis retired from Davis Transfer and participated in Shriners and was also a 32nd degree Mason. 

Surviving are wife of 43 years, Shirley Lewis; four sons, Chuck Lewis of Texas, Doug Amick (Betty) and Joey Amick (Tiffany) of Georgia, Kenny Amick (Karen) of South Carolina; two daughters, Cindy Broome (Dale) of Georgia and Nicole Lewis of New York; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

A Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later date. 

The family would like to thank Pruitt Health Hospice and the 3rd floor staff of Stephens County Hospital.
