Robert Eddy

Mr. Robert Emry Eddy, age 70 of Estatohe Drive, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Athens, Georgia.

A son of the late Robert A. Eddy and Helen B. Emry Eddy, he was born September 28, 1949 in Winter Haven, Florida where he lived most of his life and the last five years in Toccoa. He was a general manager of a construction company and the last 20 years co-owned Camp Mack’s River Resort in Lake Wales, Florida. He was a member of the local Elks Lodge #1820 and a member of the Elks Lodge in Winter Haven.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Carol Blackwelder Eddy; daughter, Julie Eddy of Miami, Florida; step-daughters Renee (Bert) Castrejon of Satellite Beach, Florida and Brenna Horne of Winter Park, Florida; step-son, Roland Dixon of Jacksonville, Florida; four grandchildren, Lucas Castrejon, Chase Dixon, Ruby Dixon and Max Horne; great-grandchild, Ophelia; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Hank Hayes of Toccoa and Kathy and Don Roberson of Stone Mountain, Georgia.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Winter Haven, Florida.
