Barbara Faye Whitehead Rowland

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Barbara Faye Whitehead Rowland, age 83 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Thursday, January 16, 2020.  Mrs. Rowland was born in Jefferson, Georgia a daughter of the late Leo and Ludie Martin Whitehead, was a homemaker, and a member of Brockton Road Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rowland is preceded by two sisters, Dorothy Pierce and Ruth Jacks. 

Survivors include her husband William “Bill” Rowland of Jefferson.  Son, Billy Rowland and his wife Debra of Sharpsburg, daughter, Donna Beard and her husband Dan of Cumming.   Three grandchildren, Ryan Rowland, Tyler Rowland, Cheryl Ricucci, and three great grandchildren; Michael, Anthony, and Savannah Ricucci  also survive.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 19, 2020 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Jesse Mealor officiating.  The family will receive friends 12:00 - 2:00 Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Rowland to the Jackson County Humane Society, P.O. Box 567, Jefferson, Georgia  30549.
