Irene Fowler Allison

Irene Fowler Allison, age 85, of Hall County, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020. She was preceded in death by her son, James Timothy (Tim) Allison and infant daughter Teresa Eve Allison. 

Survivors include her two daughters and their husbands, Susan Allison and Harold Parker and Kelly Allison and Lamar Hughes and four grandchildren.  Irene was a life-long resident of Gainesville.  She was the daughter of the late Will and Pearl Fowler and sister of the late Jeanette Fowler Reynolds.

Irene was a devout Christian who loved her family and friends fiercely.  She loved travelling whether 5-star hotel, their Winnebago or a simple travel trailer, shopping at Belk’s, playing Spades or Rook and cheering for her Atlanta Braves, the Georgia Bulldogs or watching her beloved grandsons Will Allison and Jordan London at all of their games.  She will be dearly missed.

Per her final wishes, visitation will be held on Monday February 3rd between 5-7pm at Ward’s Funeral Home 758 Main St. SW, Gainesville, GA
