Bobbie Ray Smith

Mr. Bobbie Ray Smith, age 77, of Flowery Branch passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Gainesville, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home.  Samuel Lee will officiate.  The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2020 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.  Interment will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Georgia National Cemetery.

Mr. Smith was born August 31, 1942 to the late Florence Young & Esma Alice Smith in Summerville, Georgia.  A retired United States Army Veteran, he was a gourmet chef at Horseshoe Bend Country Club, Texas A&M University and Coosa Valley Country Club  

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Jin Smith of Flowery Branch; sons & daughters-in-law, Robert & Candi Smith of Cartersville, Sandy Lee & Cindy of Galveston, Texas, Danny & Sai Smith of Auburn, Alabama and Michael Lee & Panhia Smith of Lawrenceville; 9 grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his son, Eddie Ray Smith; parents; and siblings.
