Susan Carol Talman (Smith)

Susan Carol Talman (Smith), age 75, of Suwanee, GA passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 surrounded by her husband and three daughters.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband, John Talman; daughters and sons-in law, Tiffany and Tom Ward, Steffany and Derek Hoover, Amanda and Derek Wilson; grandchildren, Zachary, Harrison and Whitney Ward, Sydney and Bryce Hoover, Harper Wren Wilson; brother, Marc Smith; beloved niece Jennifer Ford and husband, Bobby Ford; other nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Talman was born October 11, 1944 in Columbus, OH.  She was a 1963 graduate of Eastmoor High School and attended Ohio State University in Columbus, OH.  She married John Talman August 26, 1967 at Brookwood Presbyterian Church in Columbus, OH.  She and John resided in Lilburn, GA for seventeen years prior to moving to Suwanee, GA in 2000.  Susan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  She will be remembered for her love of music and dancing.  The highlights of each year were the trips she took with her family and friends to Las Vegas, Biloxi and Orange Beach.  Her true passion was spending time with her husband of fifty-three years, her three daughters and doting over her six grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 3:30 p.m., in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, with Pastor Dave Benson officiating.  The family will receive friends from  2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 12^th at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to your favorite charity in memory of Susan Carol Talman.
