Loren Albert Hilton

Loren Albert Hilton 87 Dawsonville, GA, passed away December 23, 2019 at the Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care Facility in Cumming. He was born April 11, 1932 in Lexington, Nebraska to the late Hazel Hilton and Albert Hilton.  He was raised in Sutherland, Nebraska where attended school.  He was active in track and field, and played football, graduating in 1950.  He married Carol Ann Siebenlist on December 26, 1955, and they lived in Denver, Colorado where they raised their three boys.  Loren worked in the Shoe business, first in sales, then as a Buyer for Denver Dry Goods. He received his Real Estate license and sold new homes for American Builders until the early 70’s.  He then became a Certified Audiologist and worked in manufacturing and fitting hearing aid devices until his retirement. Mr. Hilton owned and operated Colorado Hearing Aid Specialists.  He loved the outdoors, skiing, hiking, white water rafting and camping. Loren was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1953, and he was active the ministry until his death.  
He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Hilton. Mr. Hilton is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Carol Ann Hilton, Dawsonville, GA; children, Randal L. Hilton and wife Diana Hilton, Suwanee, GA,
Kevin S. Hilton and wife Laurie Hilton, Sante Fe, New Mexico, and Kent Hilton and wife Tracy Hilton, Sugar Hill, GA; grandchildren, Jonathan Hilton, Aubrey Thorne, Megan Palacios, Tyler Hilton, Gentry Hilton, Brooke Miller; great grandchildren, Ryker and Crew Miller and Léon Palacios; sister, Marlene Peregrine, North Platte, NE; brother, Dennis Hilton, Hershey, NE; and five nieces and three nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on January 11, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4681 Suwanee Dam Rd.,  Suwanee, GA, 30024.  Rocky Watts will officiate the service.
