Mr. John Floyd Curtis, 90, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020 at the Bell Minor Home following a period of declining health.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. David Gilstrap officiating. Interment will be in Rock Hill Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Born on March 16, 1929 of Gainesville he was the son of the late Floyd and Flossie Sullens Curtis. He was retired from Benson Bakery where he was a manager. Mr. Curtis was a member of Rock Hill Congregational Holiness Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Curtis is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Curtis.
