Beverly Jones

Beverly Ann Jones, age 88, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-eight years, James Nelson Jones, Jr.; parents, Emmitt and Anna Bell Steele; and brothers, Emmitt Steele and Richard Steele. She is survived by her children, Carol Elaine Jones, Buford, GA, Nelson Gregory and Kimberly Jones, Loganville, GA, Richard Wayne and Sandra Jones, Stone Mountain, GA and David and Leanne Jones, Buford, GA; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Connie Steele Miller, Windermere, FL and Jackie and Hank Galloway, Tampa, FL; brothers, Hans Alexander Steele and wife, Patti, Atlanta, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Jones was born August 1, 1931 in Atlanta, GA. She was a 1949 graduate of Girls High School in Atlanta, GA. She was a homemaker and banker. Mrs. Jones was a member of Shadowbrook Baptist Church in Suwanee, GA. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Linkous officiating. Interment will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday, January 5th from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
