Sydney Marcus

Sydney Shea Marcus, age 22, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019.  Ms. Marcus had a deep affection and love of horses. She loved outdoors such as walking, hiking and exploring. She loved camping out and sitting by a fire telling stories. She was a creative being that loved to write, paint, draw and loved to create music, she played the piano, guitar and drums.

She loved her acting class and aspired to go further.  She loved the beach and sand between her toes. She was a sensitive soul whom could make you laugh when you needed it.  She touched many lives with her humor and was a shinning light to all who knew her.

Sydney is survived by her parents Jennifer and Andy Marcus, of Dahlonega, Georgia; maternal grandparents Joyce and Melvin Johnson, of Boaz, Alabama: Nicholas and Darlene White, of Gadsden, Alabama: paternal grandparents Victor and Brenda Schuman, of Cumming, Georgia: Martha Marcus, of Marietta, Georgia: uncles and aunts Justin White, of Arab, Alabama: Kevan and Darby Boddy, of Bozeman, Montana: Robbie and Amanda Boddy, of Gainesville, Georgia: Seth and Wylinda Schuman, of Cumming, Georgia: cousins Forrest Boddy, Thorne Boddy, Bryar Boddy, Aspen Boddy, Logan Boddy, Josh Schuman, Kayla Schuman, and Sam Schuman. The family will receive friends from 1pm until 4pm and service will be at 4pm in the chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home.
