Billy Don Cheek

Mr. Billy Don Cheek age 70 of 630 Hollywood Church Road, Clarkesville passed away December 26, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A son of the late Fred and Bertha Fowler Cheek, he was born on May 7, 1949 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens and Habersham counties. He was a retired auto mechanic and of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by two brothers Edward and Lamar Cheek.

Survivors include his wife of the home Elizabeth Quinn Cheek, two daughters and son-in-law Krystal and Jackie Dickerson of Hollywood, Georgia and Dawn Kave of Winchester, Virginia, step-daughters Sara Livingston and Sabrina Odum both of Pelion, South Carolina, four grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law Dale and Sharon Cheek of Toccoa, sisters and brother-in-law Jean Strickland of Lavonia and Jewell and Roger Whitmire of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be held Sunday December 29, 2019 at 2 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Don Scott officiating. The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 6 P.M. til 8 P.M.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Ronnie Cheek, Ashton Cheek, David Winters, Jackie Dickerson, Treyvin Cheek and Wayne Dickerson.

Interment will follow in Mullins Ford Baptist Church Cemetery.
