Odell Kidd

Odell Kidd, 75, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2019 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. James Kanaday and Rev. Rachel Kanaday officiating. Interment followed in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Born on July 31, 1944 in Gainesville he was the son of the late Dave and Annie Mae Porter Kidd. He was employed with Avery Label in the Maintenance Department.

Mr. Kidd is survived by his wife, Marie Abernathy Kidd of Gainesville; sons and daughters in law, Mike and Sherri Kidd of Edgemore, SC, Chris and Celeste Kidd of Gainesville; daughter, Amy Thomas; grandchildren, Kayla Thomas, D.J. Kidd, Danielle Kidd and Kaden Thomas all of Gainesville.
