Charles D. Steelman

Mr. Charles D. Steelman, age 75, of Flowery Branch passed away Monday, December 23, 2019.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2019 with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Pastor Chuck Allen will officiate.  The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Steelman was born December 9, 1944 to the late Charles William & Irene Elizabeth Steelman in Somerspoint, New Jersey.  He was a member of Sugar Hill Church and retired from Coca Cola, where he worked for over 47 years.  He was a member of Coco-Cola Alumni and volunteered at the North Gwinnett Co-Op.  Charles was a loving husband and father who loved to spend time on and around the water.  Charlie was always willing to give others a helping hand and enjoyed teaching his experience and knowledge to others.

Mr. Steelman is survived by his wife of 52 years, Katherine M. Steelman of Flowery Branch; children, Randy M. & Shelly Dick of Smithsburg, Maryland; Kimberley L. & Cary M. Phillips of Flowery Branch, and John C. Steelman of Gainesville; grandchildren, Adam & Jennifer Dick, Garrett & Emily Dick, Jacob & Sarah Katherine Phillips and Brandon James Steelman; and great-grandchildren, Kaden, Beckham, Camden and Hudson Dick.
