Diane Overstreet, 62, passed away Thursday December 19th, in Braselton, Georgia. The daughter of Willie C. and Leola Bowman, she was born in Tucker and lived in the Atlanta area since birth. She spent most of her career employed at Scientific-Atlanta (now Cisco Corp) and was a devoted wife, mother, and friend.
She is survived by her husband Jim Overstreet of Buford, Georgia, daughter Lauren Overstreet of Brookhaven, Georgia, as well as nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 28th at the Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel, 3481 Hamilton Mill Road, Buford, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
