Nancy Turner

Nancy Turner, 76, of Dawsonville passed away Friday, December 20, 2019. Nancy was a sweet, loving person who always put others before herself.  She was a member of Concord Baptist Church.  Nancy is preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Reid; father, Liipfert Reid; brothers, James Reid and Charles Reid, and a niece, Melanie Hubbard.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Ivan Turner; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Buzz Parsons; grandchildren, Josh Parsons and Jennifer Smith; great grandchildren, Hayden Parsons, William Parsons, and Elijah Parson; sisters, Virginia Hubbard, Patricia Shoemake; brother, Ronnie Reid; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 23, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Hamby and Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
