Thomas Glenn Patterson

Mr. Thomas Glenn Patterson, age 59 of McFarlin Bridge Road, Carnesville passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospice House, Watkinsville, Georgia.

A son of Janet McPherson Patterson and the late William Edward, he was born May 6, 1960 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Franklin County. He was formerly employed with Milliken as the Plant Maintenance Manager in the engineering department. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Nails Creek Baptist Church.  

Survivors include his mother, Janet McPherson Patterson of Carnesville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amber and Jason Sparks of Commerce and Kelly and Justin Newman of Columbus, Georgia; four grandchildren, Morgan, Scarlett, Charlie and Scott; two sisters and brother-in-law, Andrea and Dennis Dean of Lavonia and Anita Patterson of Carnesville; brother-in-law, Terry King of Carnesville.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 20, 2019, 3:30 p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Duane Eller and The Reverend Billy Owensby officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jason Sparks, Phillip Sparks, Drew Sparks, Adam King and Matt Cochran.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from 1:30 p.m. until the service time. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Nails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Thomas Glenn Patterson.
