Mr. Edgar Herbert Eddington, 6-18-1940 to 12-14-2019, passed away on December 14th following an extended illness. He was 79 years old.
Mr. Eddington was preceded in death by his parents, Corbet and Myrtle Eddington.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sudailya Pratt Eddington and 3-adult children Tammy Duvall, Eddie Eddington and Jody Eddington. There are also 3-surviving grandchildren, Dustin, Latisha, and Nicki and 9-great grandchildren, Nathan, Christina, Jameson, Holly, Lily, Taylor, Faith, Mackenzie and Naci. His grandchildren affectionately called him “Bobot” and “Popaw”.
Mr. Eddington was a United States Army Veteran and developed a life career as a self-employed Metal Application Contractor.
He greatly enjoyed working outside and spending meaningful time with his wife, children and grandchildren in various outdoor activities.
Visitation for Edgar Herbert Eddington will be Saturday December 21, 2019 at the Dahlonega Funeral Home from 12:00pm to 1:00pm with Services beginning at 1:00pm. His remains will be interred at Georgia National Cemetery on Friday January 3, 2020 in a private ceremony.
