Richard Karl Schmidt

Richard Karl Schmidt, age 76, of Cleveland, GA passed away Friday, December 13, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his wife of twenty-six years, Carol Anne Buckley Schmidt.  Mr. Schmidt is survived by his son, Richard Gunter, Cleveland, GA; granddaughter, Heather Marie Gunter, Helen, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Joseph Colinbrito, Elberton, GA; brother, Thomas Schmidt, Warren, OH; several other relatives.  Mr. Schmidt was born April 15, 1944 in Warren, OH.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy for four years.  Mr. Schmidt was a retired truck driver for Allied Truck Lines and a former policeman.  There will be no formal services.
